What PS3 racing games are offline multiplayer?

I am trying to get some good racing games that can be played multiplayer, but not on the net.

I have formula 1, motorstorm, and neither of those are multiplayer except for LAN and on the net, which is rubbish!

Is Gran Turismo 5 multiplayer, or are there any other good games (not Ridge Racer as I dont like that!)
